There is now an alternative on the Steinhuder Meer
Neustadt – Cast off, party! Celebrate despite Corona! This is the rescue: while clubs are still closed due to the pandemic, the “Outrunners” is now sailing on the Steinhuder Meer – the first event boat on the water.
Special feature: the 7.20 meter long Panton boat for a maximum of ten people is equipped with an electric motor (10 HP, 11 hours running time). And anyone can hire it (100 euros/hour – even without a license. Radio with Bluetooth, lounge furniture and underwater lighting are included.
“There has been a boom in the maritime sector and outdoor activities, especially during the coronavirus pandemic,” says Chris Del Castillo, Managing Director of EK Marine Service. Together with his brother Francesco (20), he came up with the idea for the unusual excursion boat and invited everyone on board for the maiden voyage on Saturday.
