Technology and performance
The performance of the DF4A is ensured by a single-cylinder OHV engine with a displacement of 138 cc - the largest displacement in this performance class. The large displacement and low weight ensure excellent acceleration values across the entire speed range.
The DF4A is equipped with a special fuel filling system that makes it easy to start the engine after storage. Thanks to this ingenious system, it is not necessary to pre-pump the fuel from the tank into the carburetor.
In addition to improved running characteristics, high fuel efficiency and good responsiveness, the convenient operation of the tilting system is also impressive. The outboard motor can be lowered back into the water from the tilted-up position in just a few simple steps and with little effort.
The positioning of the tiller allows the driver to sit far forward and thus improve the weight distribution in the boat. A 180-degree steering system ensures excellent maneuverability even in shallow water. The built-in 1.0 liter fuel tank offers a long range.
Large carrying handles, low weight and the option of three-way storage make the DF4A easy to transport and store. This Suzuki outboard motor also complies with the European EU1 standard and can also be used on Lake Constance.
