Information on range and speed
When displacing on the water, the required propulsion power increases with the third power of the speed. This means that if you want to double your speed, you need eight times the power.
On the other hand, even a slight reduction in speed can significantly increase the achievable range.
The Torqeedo Ultralight's on-board computer constantly calculates the remaining range and links the engine's consumption data with the battery charge level and the ground speed from the GPS. This allows the remaining range to be read in real time from the engine display and the TorqTrac smartphone app.
