Yamaha 20hp - Powerful outboard for small boats
Small engine, great performance: the 20hp is a reliable companion for anyone who wants to work effectively on the water or experience clean driving pleasure. The compact two-cylinder four-stroke engine impresses with its good response and protects the environment thanks to its high fuel efficiency combined with low emissions. In addition, there are many innovative features that are normally only found in larger engines - such as computer-controlled ignition, a special starting system for low engine speeds, a water-cooled fuel pump and large-volume silencers.
Multi-point EFI system
The 30hp's combustion process has been optimized with innovative and advanced technologies, including Yamaha's proven Multi-Point EFI system, which reduces fuel vapour emissions. These technologies are controlled by a microcomputer that analyzes the fuel-air mixture and regulates it for quick starting, excellent throttle response and clean, efficient combustion.
DNG digital instruments
The 30hp is compatible with Yamaha's DNG digital instruments, which maximize performance and efficiency by displaying a range of data: a multifunctional tachometer for displaying engine speed, hours, tilt angle, oil pressure, warning lights and variable speed setting, as well as a speed and fuel management display with speed, fuel level and fuel consumption.
Optional electronic anti-theft device (Y-COP®) from Yamaha
Yamaha's electronic anti-theft device (Y-COP®) is simple and extremely effective: a compact and easy-to-use remote control locks and unlocks the engine at the touch of a button.
