Easy and effortless to transport - whether at the dock or on board
When you want to get out on the water quickly, transportation is key - and with its compact design and large carrying handles, the 4hp is a powerful representative of ultimate mobility. This motor can be easily brought to the dock - or lifted onto your main boat as an auxiliary motor.
Three-stage transport and storage system that guarantees no oil leaks
When transporting the engine to and from the boat, contamination from oil leaks would be really out of place. Thanks to Yamaha's special engine venting system, the engine can be stored on its front and both sides without risking oil leaks at the mooring, on deck, at the storage area or even in the trunk.
180° tiller with adjustable steering and throttle resistance
The simple steering resistance adjustment and the ability to steer a full 90° to the left or right make handling a real pleasure. Tight turning maneuvers when mooring and casting off can be mastered effortlessly. The throttle trim is also easy to control and you are in complete control of your boat even at full speed.
The optionally available alternator provides a 12 V / 6 A power supply
The optionally available alternator with rectifier/regulator provides a reliable 12 V / 6 A power supply for the lights and for charging the battery. This makes exploration trips or night-time fishing trips even more fun!
Built-in fuel tank with option to switch to external tank
The practical integrated fuel tank with a capacity of 1.1 liters makes the engine even easier to transport and leaves more space in the boat for important details such as an extra pack of bait or an additional cool box for refreshments. For longer trips, simply connect an external tank (optionally available) and simply switch the 2-way valve.
